Fresh Start families are provided with a wide range of direct services at no
charge, including:
- Employment/educational training assistance
- Transportation assistance and donated used vehicles
- Housing referrals
- Court advocacy
- Case management and mentoring
- Financial Education Workshops
- Youth empowerment programs
- Access to donated furniture, clothing, and household items
(including truck delivery services)
- Holiday Assistance
In addition to providing direct services to clients, Fresh Start of Indiana
offers the following community services nationwide:
- Domestic violence education and awareness seminars to shelter
residents, social service providers and their clients, churches, civic groups,
healthcare providers, and employers.
- Consulting services to establish non-residential domestic
violence transitional support programs replicating the Fresh Start model.
